How to change the language in MT5

One of the most important things on the platform is to work with a language you are comfortable with. Fortunately, MetaTrader 5 supports all major languages.

To change the platform language:

• Click on “view” from the top menu and click on language.

• Press restart to apply the selected language.

How to load symbols in MT5

To select different currency pairs or trading instruments in MetaTrader 5:

• Right-click on market watch and select symbols.
• A “symbols” window will pop and from the list of groups provided,
• Select a group
• And select your preferred symbol or currency pair to be added.
• Click the “show symbol” to make changes.

How to configure charts in MT5

To change the chart type:

• Either right-click on the chart or click on the chart from the top menu.
• Select either one of the 3 chart types provided:

1. Bar chart
2. Candlestick
3. Line chart

To modify the chart timeframe:

• Click on the timeframe from the chart menu,
• Or by right-clicking on the chart.
• Select the timeframe you want, and the change will be live.

How to make changes on a chart in MT5

To modify the chart colours:

1. Hover over the chart you want to edit and right-click and select properties from the menu of options
2. Select the colours for the numerous components so that the chart presents exactly as you prefer.
3.  Apply the changes according to your preferences and click “ok”
4. Your changes will be confirmed and active on the chart.
