An internal mail system is included in the MetaTrader 5 platform. It enables you to get critical information from your broker, such as

• information on open accounts,
• valuable platform features,
• future events, and so on.

The Toolbox window's Mailbox tab displays all the emails.

How to view mailbox in MT5

Click on the “Mailbox” tab to view all your emails.

• An unread email is marked with a yellow envelope icon and the subject f the email is bolded.
• The read emails are not bolded and are marked with an white open envelope icon.
• Email that you have sent are represented by an arrow icon.

In situations where you don't have the toolbox opened:

• Hover around the “View” menu on the menu bar and click on “Toolbox” to display the toolbox
• Or use the “Ctrl + T” keyboard shortcut

Opening and reading emails in MT5

Simply double-tap or double-click the email you want to read, to open it.

The email will open in a new window, showing different information like:

• Sender
• Subject
• Time
• The content of the email

From this new window, you can use the toolbar of different commands to:

• Reply to the email
• Save the email in HTML or text format
• Print the email
• Display a preview window before printing
• Save files attached to the email
