BlackBull Markets Has Partnered With Interac!

BlackBull Markets has partnered up with Interac, enabling Canadian Clients an easy way to fund their trading account at BlackBull Markets directly from their Canadian bank account.

Many large banks such as Desjardins, Tangerine, National Bank, alongside many credit unions, support Interac. Interac has been trusted with 132.8 billion dollars’ worth of transactions.

To put this into perspective, the total value of all debit transactions in Canada was $251.3 billion, meaning Interac handled over 52% of total debit transaction volume in 2019. There were over 371.4 million Interac transactions in 2018.

Benefits of Interac

One of the main benefits of Interac is unlike a bank wire, where two financial institutions need to process the transaction, which could be in a couple of hours to a couple of days; Interacts transactions are generally instant and directly debited to your trading account. However, sometimes, this may take 20 to 30 minutes.

BlackBull Markets is currently offering no fees when Canadian’s fund via Interac

To celebrate our partnership, we are offering Canadian clients no fees to transfer funds to their trading account via Interac until the end of February 2020.

It is important that Canadian clients strictly follow the instructions Interac provided you during the deposit process.

If you have any issues or queries regarding Interac, please email support at support@blackbullmarkets.com. Or alternatively, speak to us on live chat at blackbullmarkets.com.

Stock Buybacks. Why Do Companies Buy Back Their Own Stock?

Think of it this way: Imagine there are 1 million public shares of Company XYZ. Each share is currently worth US $1,000. Company XYZ then proceeds to repurchase half the number of public shares via a share repurchase plan and removes them from general circulation (imagine that these shares are burnt and no longer exist). Consequently, there are now only 500,000 shares left to be traded or held by the public.
